I was hired by the owner of multiple Flipout facilities, Sal Amanji, to work on modernising the content used across all of his parks, whilst maintaining the social media presence and providing regular customer updates. When I was brought in back in 2019, they were using the same outdated graphics to promote events and offers. The video content was boring and had not moved with the times.
Despite this, the parks had a lot to offer, and if you had never been, unless somebody told you, there was not really any way of seeing how great the parks were. This was the goal: to show people how fun the trampoline parks can be, use social media to communicate this message, whilst ensuring each of the scheduled events and activities was receiving enough bookings to make them viable.
When I came on board, they had 3 parks: Blackburn, Preston, and Rochdale. This then grew to Manchester, Stoke, and Birmingham, and just as I was moving on to work on other stuff, they had bought London, Peterborough, and Bradford.
Social Media Activity
When I joined, the parks had a small following on social media. My main focus was Instagram and Facebook, but we did move over to TikTok also once this platform became more popular. I helped grow the reach, running local competitions to increase the number of local followers – we would give away park tickets, vouchers to local restaurants, vouchers to local events and more to increase the local audience. We did not focus on cash prizes or competitions that would attract people all over the country; our goal was simply to attract a local audience.
Using this approach, we ran at least 1 competition per month, sometimes 2, and this helped to grow the following significantly.



Video Content
I produced several videos, from reel-style videos for social media to long-form videos for YouTube and the in-park screens. We used Adobe After Effects to create menu animations for the cafe screens. Below are some of the videos I made for the different Flipout parks.
